Hopewell UMC will offer nine week Ramsey financial course

Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will offer a nine week course in financial planning beginning Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m.

The class demonstrates how to get rid of debt, manage money, and spend and save wisely.

“Ramsey’s class, called ‘Financial Peace University,’ is a proven way to prepare for the future, no matter what your income may be at the moment,” a spokesperson said.

Each class will last about an hour and a half and includes entertaining videos by Ramsey coupled with classroom discussion and problem solving. Course kits are available from the church at $93 each.
