“Refuse to be a Victim” is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 16, 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Fayette Senior Services’ Fayetteville location (The Life Enrichment Center, 4 Center Drive).

The most important part of personal safety is always being prepared. Julio Ramos teaches us all we need to know to protect ourselves from physical, financial, and personal threats that can make us a victim. Learn all aspects of personal security and situational awareness from the time you wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night. Discover the steps you can take to lessen the chances of becoming a victim of a crime – from theft, credit card fraud, internet hack, and more. This is not a hands on self-defense program, but teaches us the knowledge we need to protect ourselves in all areas of threat.

This program is $20 and includes lunch and materials. Pre-registration is required and payment must be made at the time of reservations. Phone 770-461-0813 or stop by any location to register. FSS members and non-members welcome. For more information visit www.fayss.org.
