State Rep. Ronnie Mabra (D-Fayetteville) was recently selected by the National Bar Association (NBA) as a recipient of the “Top 40 Under 40 Advocates” award. He was also named to the University of Georgia’s 2016 class of the“40 Under 40 Alumni.”
“I am happy that my hard work has been recognized by these prominent organizations; however, the real credit goes to my family, friends, staff and the people of House District 63,” said Mabra. “Without their strong support, I would not be able to stay at the top of my game and serve to my full potential.”
The NBA “40 Under 40” is an annual award recognizing the nation’s top young lawyers who exemplify a broad range of high achievement in private and public service. The UGA “40 Under 40 Alumni” award recognizes successful young graduates who live by the Three Pillars of the Arch and have made an impact in their professional and philanthropic endeavors.
Mabra graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2004 and Georgia Tech in 2000. He is a trial lawyer and founder of The Mabra Firm, LLC., a personal injury law firm in midtown Atlanta.
In addition to his work at the Capitol and his law firm, Rep. Mabra serves his legislative district through charity work. For the past four years he has organized the ‘Annual Mabra Turkey Giveaway’ and donated thousands of turkeys to local families.
Mabra represents the citizens of District 63, which includes portions of Clayton, Fayette, and Fulton counties. He was elected in 2012, and currently serves on the Code Revision, Governmental Affairs, Higher Education, and Judiciary committees.
