Georgia Department of Transportation projects to improve highway infrastructure throughout Metropolitan Atlanta continue this weekend, weather permitting. Construction on the I-75 Express Lanes and I-20 will require lane closures, which, in turn, are likely to result in delays. Motorists are advised to exercise caution by reducing speed while driving through work zones.

The Georgia DOT encourages motorists to call 511, visit www.511ga.org, or check the 511 Georgia and Atlanta Traffic app before departing for real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.
