Pinewood Atlanta Studios is presenting “The Spotlight Series,” a series of outdoor screenings shown at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Amphitheater, 301 LaFayette Avenue in Fayetteville, where guests can enjoy an evening on the lawn with local vendors providing concessions available for purchase.
The series will screen movies filmed at one of Pinewood’s seven worldwide studios. There will be two free events for 2016.
The first screening will be of Guardians of the Galaxy, released in 2014 and filmed at Shepperton Studios in England. It will be shown Saturday, May 21. Gates will open at 7 p.m. and the movie will commence at sundown.
Olde Courthouse Tavern and Scoops will be on-site vendors. Guests may also bring in small coolers or picnic baskets with their own food and drink. Beer and wine is allowed in the Southern Ground Amphitheater and will also be available for purchase.
Admission is free and the show will take place rain or shine. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early.
