Fayette County Retired Educators Association (FCREA) recently presented Georgia Retired Educators Association (GREA) Academic Awards to students from each of Fayette County’s middle schools. Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Joseph Barrow, presented these awards during the April 14 meeting of FCREA.
FCREA announced the 2016 High School Scholarship recipient at this meeting. Each year one graduating senior from a Fayette County High School planning to enter the education profession receives this scholarship. This year’s recipient is a Sandy Creek High School graduate.
