Fayette County Post 105 of The American Legion selected John Hyle as their Eagle Scout of the Year for 2016.
John is a member of Troop 181 sponsored by the Peachtree City Kiwanis Club and is a student at Starr’s Mill High School. He is the son of Post 105 member Susan Northrup.
Ray Willcocks, senior vice commander of Post 105, shown on the right, presented Hyle with a certificate and a check for $100.
Fayette County Post 105 meets the second Monday of each month at the historic Log Cabin in Fayetteville.
