National Heights Baptist Church will host its 5th annual Shred Day on Saturday, April 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. at 103 Old Norton Road, Fayetteville (corner of Old Norton and Ga Highway 54).
There is no charge to the public for shredding, but donations will be accepted.
Global Shredding will perform the service on site.
Documents and papers acceptable for shredding include outdated or sensitive information such as medical and financial records, credit card statements, cancelled checks, insurance forms, old tax returns and any other personal documentation.
Staples or paper clips do not have to be removed before shredding, but documents should be taken out of binders and notebooks to avoid jamming the machine.
No advance registration is needed to participate.
