Mr. and Mrs. Dale Becker of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Meaghan Elizabeth, to Michael Quirk, son of Susan Quirk of Philadelphia, Pa. and Robert Quirk of Woodbine, N.J.
Miss Becker is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she received her master of education degree in early childhood education. She is employed with the Department of Defense Education Activity, teaching elementary students in Yokosuka, Japan.
Mr. Quirk is a graduate of DeSales University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in molecular biology. He is currently serving in the United States Navy, stationed in COMFLEACT Yokosuka, Japan.
The couple plans to marry April 2017 in Atlanta.
