The statewide tornado drill originally scheduled for Wednesday was postponed until Friday because of unfavorable weather conditions.
“Fayette County will sound the countywide emergency weather sirens on Friday,” according to a statement. “Whenever you hear the emergency weather sirens, seek shelter, even on test dates.
“Do not call 911 to ask questions when you hear the emergency sirens. Only call 911 when you have an emergency.”
