Notable grads and students


Kaylin M. Johnson of Senoia earned a bachelor’s degree last month from the University of North Georgia and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserves. Johnson graduated from Trinity Christian School in Sharpsburg in 2010. Parents are Scott and Julie Johnson.


Maria Flemings of Fairburn graduated from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minn., last month with a master’s degree in health information management. The combined baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral ceremony had 534 candidates for graduation.

Sarah Ann Leoni of Peachtree City graduated last month with a degree in nursing from James Madison University. Leoni was among nearly 900 students who received undergraduate, master’s, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.
