The Flint River Astronomy Club will hold its monthly meeting and public lunar and planetary observing Thursday, Jan. 14, 7-10 p.m. at The Garden, the University of Georgia’s agricultural headquarters in Griffin.
Club members will have their telescopes out to show the moon, planets and other celestial delights before and after the meeting, which will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is free, and anyone who is interested in astronomy is cordially invited to attend.
