Chalk up another jewel for Peachtree City’s business community. Wencor Group officials announced the opening of its new global headquarters at 416 Dividend Drive in Peachtree City. Corporate and North American warehouse operations will now be conducted from this new Atlanta metro location, while the Miami warehouse will continue to support the Latin American region. Wencor’s PMA Engineering and Product Development resources will support customers from both the Peachtree City and Springville, Utah offices, according to a company press release.

“By investing in a state-of-the-art facility, we are well positioned to expand our product and service capabilities, strengthening the Wencor Group brand as a worldwide leader of aftermarket solutions,” said Rick Tonney, president of Wencor Distribution. Keith Coleman, resident of Wencor PMA also commented, “Our new, 163,000 square foot facility and its close proximity to the world’s busiest airport will enable us to serve our customers more efficiently. Furthermore, our new corporate location provides access to a significantly larger talent pool, enabling Wencor Group to recruit the very best talent within the aviation industry.”

The company is no stranger to Peachtree City, though.

“Our headquarters was originally in Springville, Utah under the name Wencor Group. Dixie Aerospace -which was a subsidiary of Wencor Group was at the previous location 473 Dividend Drive. Dixie Aerospace has been absorbed by Wencor Group and we have moved our entire headquarters to Peachtree City. As of right now we have 180 employees and plan to continue to add new positons as demand increases,” said senior marketing manager Raisa Morgan.
