Grandparents appreciated at Bennett’s Mill

Grandparents play an important role in shaping students’ lives, so students and staff at Bennett’s Mill Middle decided to show their appreciation by hosting a special breakfast.

Just over 100 grandparents attended the first-ever Grandparent Appreciation Breakfast at the school. Both grandparents and students enjoyed breakfast and spending time together before the start of the school day.

“It was a great breakfast and fellowship event. We will do this annually,” said assistant principal Aimee Gumerson.
