Here’s how to register a no-confidence vote in Mike King

[Peachtree City] Council member Mike King has served for 21 months, and his recorded philosophy is to always favor someone improving their property, contrary to the ordinance’s stated council responsibility of setting policy and by extension enforcing that policy.

His voting record reflects his philosophy as he voted to approve 22 of 25 variance requests. He gave no explanations for his votes.

King supported the Great Wolf Lodge water park and has yet to explain why; then voted against the rezoning without explaining why.

Cast a no confidence vote against Mike King. Vote for the candidate of your choice in the Post 1 race, then write in the other candidate’s name for Post 2 against King.

King may be forced into a runoff if he doesn’t get over 50 percent of the vote. There’s no prohibition in the state statutes or city ordinances for doing that.
