PTCUMC Chicken-Que is this Saturday
The United Methodist Men at PTCUMC will offer their annual Chicken-Que this Saturday with meals of chicken, cole slaw, baked beans and bread served for $8 per plate. It’s a take-out only event from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the old campus at 400 Windgate Rd. in Peachtree City. Meals also will be served to all first responders on duty. Indian Christian Fellowship to meet
South Atlanta Indian Christian Fellowship will host a gospel meeting Saturday, Sept. 12, at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Fayette Presbyterian Church, 791 Forrest Ave. in Fayettevile. Rev. Reji Paul, a prominent theological professor, will speak. The event is sponsored by the Atlanta parish of the St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India. Study of Revelation offered at All Saints
Beginning  Sunday, Sept. 13, All Saints Anglican Church’s Christian Education will resume. Along with the youth Sunday school, an adult course on The Revelation to St. John will be offered as well.  Classes will begin at  9:15 a.m. and conclude by  10:15 a.m. Materials will be provided. There is no fee. Thecourse is taught by the Rev. Dr. Jon C. Jenkins, who holds a masters of divinity degree, and a doctorate of ministry degree, both from Nashotah House Theological Seminary. Gospel festival set for Sept. 19
The second annual Gospel Under the Stars Festival is Saturday, Sept. 19 at 4 p.m. at 1565 Hwy. 92 N. in Fayetteville, hosted by Mount Olive Baptist Church. The outdoor festival will include gospel music performances, tag-team preaching, youth Olympic-style games, bouncers, food, and vendors. Flipper Chapel events announced
The women of Flipper Chapel A.M.E Church will celebrate Women’s Day on Sept. 20, beginning with dinner from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. The theme:  Women: “Worshiping, Working and Witnessing for Christ.” The Rev. Regina Dotson~Hibbert and the Russell Temple A.M.E. Church, Newnan,  will be the guest pastor and church. The Rev. Kimberly Lyons is the host pastor.  On Saturday, Sept. 19, the women will sell spaghetti dinners from 3 to 5 p.m. The donation is $10. The church is  at 175 Booker Ave., Fayetteville.
