Alice Kim Mears, 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015.
She was born on May 13, 1919 in Hilo, Hawaii.
Mrs. Mears was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Mears, and son, Rodney Eugene Mears. She is survived by her son, Edwin G. Mears (Kathy) of Sharpsburg, Ga.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Glenn) and Ashley (Vladimir), one great-grandchild (Nola) and sisters Aileen and Ann.
A private memorial service will take place at the Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. where she will be interred with her husband and son.
