Regarding the recent weekly articles in The Citizen about the “War“ episode: The battle between U.S. Army General William Livsey (Retired) and our very own Fayetteville Police Department (aka the “Keystone Cops”).
Fortunately for us Fayetteville citizens, the “Keystones” have apprehended, captured, subdued, overpowered and handcuffed the dangerous 84-year-old villain, the “General.” It took many brave “Keystones” to accomplish this major feat. Perhaps the “General” was brandishing a lethal weapon like Chinese chop sticks.
The now-famous “War” involves alleged felony robbery charges pertaining to $80.60 of Chinese food. Don’t we already have enough problems in our current economic environment without adding the word Chinese into the mix?
Don’t worry, fellow Fayetteville taxpayer citizens, as we now have, apparently, other Fayetteville militia and top officials wisely spending our tax dollars in an attempt to solve this, huge, $80.60 problem.
When this problem is solved, perhaps, the city fathers will present the arresting “Keystone” officers with letters and plaques at a gala ceremony. This will be in recognition of their gallant bravery and outstanding intelligence and wise use of taxpayers’ resources in arresting the 84-year-old “General.”
The arrest certainly instills my confidence in our beloved militia because of the use of their common sense in this situation.
I now understand why The Citizen, some time ago, stopped printing articles from the book entitled “A Government of Wolves” written by John W.Whitehead. That book informs us about the emerging American police state and contains stories similar to our own current “War” involving the “General.”
Who needs stories about Ferguson, Missouri, when you can read about our own “War” in The Citizen?
Years ago I talked with the Fayetteville mayor about the establishment of a police and fire commission. He stated that we didn’t need a police and fire commission.
I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement. What we have now is the fox watching the chicken coop.
Fiascos like the current one would be addressed swiftly and ethically by the Police and Fire Commission. The “Keystone” people would be out of their self-policing loop.
Wake up, fellow citizens; these are your tax dollars! Our elected and appointed trusted servants may have lost sight, or forgotten, whose dollars they are spending.
