J.C. Booth Middle School is piloting a STEM program this year for seventh-grade students with some hands-on, real-world activities outside the classroom.

Last week the group took a field trip to the Glenloch pools to test their Sea Perch robotics in the water in preparation for a Sept. 10 competition at Georgia Tech. Also scheduled is a visit to the dam in Peachtree City along with the city’s mayor.
