“Unraveling Old Wives Tales” is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 24, 1-2 p.m. at Fayette Senior Services’ Peachtree City location, The Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail.

We’ve all heard a decent amount of old wives tales, but how do we know if we can trust them or not? Dr. Fred Willms, chief medical officer with Piedmont Fayette Hospital, will uncover the truth behind those old medical tales. Find out what is really true or what you should be shrugging off and ignoring. Does an apple a day truly keep the doctor away?
