Anthony Lee Picklesimer, 64, of Sharpsburg, passed away on July 18, 2015.
Anthony was born in Atlanta, Ga. on August 18, 1950. He was a loving father and peepaw who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. After graduating from Lakeshore High School he proudly served his country as a medic in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was very involved at Crossroads Church, leading several discipleship classes. His hobbies included spending time with his family, and tinkering with his vintage car.
Anthony is survived by his parents, Johnny and Helen Picklesimer of Griffin; his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jeff Gable of Sharpsburg; his son, Robert Lee Picklesimer; his grandchildren: Magen, Hannah, and Grace Picklesimer; Brianna and Brayden Gable; his brother, Michael Picklesimer of Williamson; and his sister, Brenda Harris of Williamson.
The funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Pastor John Hobbs officiating. Burial immediately followed the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.
