The Peachtree City School of Dance has announced that Armando Luna has accepted the position as master teacher at the school.
Luna, from Houston, is Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education’s principal teacher and Atlanta Ballet Centre Theatre co-director. His professional career as a dancer, teacher, and choreographer spans 30 years.
He received a National Choreography Recognition Award for his ballet Dance Concerto presented by Regional Dance America.
Luna joins professionals Kathleen Senger (director, BFA in dance and certified by American Ballet Theater) and Brenda Hotard (artist–in-residence, MFA in dance and certified by American Ballet Theater)
“We are committed to offering the highest quality dance training in a positive, nurturing environment,” according to a spokesperson for the school.
