Rotary to sponsor youth leadership event

The 2015 Fayette Leadership Youth Summit, sponsored by the Peachtree City Rotary Club, is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2-8 p.m. at the Pinewood Atlanta Studios Production Center.

It is open to sophomores and juniors in Fayette County.

Organizers will be working with a number of community leaders, including GROW Counseling, the U.S. Army, Real Life Center, State Court Judge Jason Thompson, and many others offering training and experience to equip students with tools to be effective leaders.

Topics to be discussed include volunteering, race relations, technology, sexting/pornography, blended families, suicide, anxiety, stress, and adversity.
