Prayer vigil June 25

The Fayette County chapter of the NAACP is sponsoring a community prayer vigil Thursday, June 25, 7-8 p.m. at the Fayette County Administrative Complex, 140 Stonewall Avenue West in Fayetteville.

According to a statement, the purposes of the event are  “standing in support of our Charleston, S.C. community; showing that love is stronger than hate; and staying true to our goal of justice and equality.”

The public is invited to attend.
