0Flat Creek Baptist Church and Newnan First Baptist Church will host Freedom Celebration 2015 Sunday and Monday, June 28 and 29, at 7 p.m. each night.
Sunday’s service will be at Flat Creek and Monday’s at Newnan First.
Guest speaker will be retired Lt. Col. Steve Russell, commanding officer in the capture of Saddam Hussein and now U.S. Congressmen for Oklahoma.
Featured will be a performance at both services by the combined choirs and orchestras of Flat Creek and Newnan, along with an appearance by the color guard and a salute to the armed forces.
