All Saints Anglican Church recently completed its eighth annual summer Music Camp.
Shannon Bryan, All Saints’ director of music, and Jessica Greiner, director of youth and family ministry, spearheaded the week-long program, along with Kelley Meyers, children’s ministry assistant, and some 50 volunteers.
Besides learning a variety of hymns and praise songs, the children, ages 5-11, were exposed to a variety of musical instruments. Different professional musicians, parish members and guest performers provided instruction and demonstrations of strings, brass, percussion, guitar, piano and chimes.
Parents and staff enjoyed an end-of-camp musical program presented by the campers.
Campers were invited to take part in a mission project for the needy by donating to the Bethlehem Ministry.
