Chamber hosts B2B Luncheon June 10

The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce’s next B2B Luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Chamber Meeting Place. The topic is “The Ins and Outs of Business Communications.” The presenter is Harry Vander Krabben of Toastmasters.

The art of presenting is the easiest skill to learn and the hardest skill to master, according to some experts. It’s also considered the most neglected and forgotten skill in a business person’s arsenal.

Topics to be addressed include the power of communication and why we must use it wisely; the three necessary elements to any presentation; the greatest visual aid you should be using; intended message versus your actual message; and the power of a story.

The luncheon is for members only. Cost is $10 online or $15 at the door (if space is available).
