Tyson to speak to Fayette GOP

The Fayette County Republican Party’s monthly breakfast is set for Saturday, June 6, at the FCRP Event Center, 174 Glynn Street North in Fayetteville.
 
Guest speaker for the event is Bryan P. Tyson, an attorney at Strickland Brockington Lewis, LLP. Tyson was recently appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal to head up the Department of Public Defenders and has worked as policy aide to U.S. Rep. Lynn Westmoreland in his Washington office. Tyson was deeply involved with Georgia’s legislative redistricting and, along with others in his firm, advised the Georgia General Assembly during its 2011 map-drawing process.

The event is open to the public, beginning with a continental Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. for a $5 charge. The speaker will begin at 9 a.m.
