The Sandy Creek High orchestra program has earned the Georgia Music Educators Association’s Exemplary Performance Award.
This award is presented to middle and high school bands, orchestras, and choruses that achieve outstanding results in all areas of performance sponsored by the Georgia Music Educators Association. These areas include Large Group Performance Evaluation, Solo and Ensemble Performance Evaluation, All State, and the District Honor events.
The Exemplary Performance Award is the most prestigious award available to middle and high school bands, orchestras, and choruses.
The Sandy Creek orchestra will receive a wall plaque and framed certificate at its fall concert.
