A company that began in Peachtree City and expanded to Fayetteville wants to return to Peachtree City to meet the demands of its growing business.
Integrity Fusion Products wants to construct a 64,500 sq. ft. office and warehouse building on a 14.19-acre tract on Parkade Court in the Gardner Park industrial subdivision off Ga. Highway 74 South.
The conceptual site plan approved unanimously on May 11 by the Peachtree City Planning Commission calls for GI-zoned (general industrial) projects.
Integrity Fusion Products is the manufacturer of high-density polyethylene fittings, said company founder Doug Yelken, adding that the company’s products are produced in Sicily and China. He said only a limited amount of production is anticipated at the Peachtree City facility in the future.
Yelken said the company was originally located in a multi-tenant building in Peachtree City but outgrew that location and moved to a 32,000 sq. ft. site in Fayetteville two years ago. Integrity also leases another 15,000 sq. ft. of space.
Now two years later, “We’re out of space,” Yelken said of the Fayetteville location. “We’re in a growth market. We don’t want to limit (ourselves) by not having enough space.”
The 14-acre tract will accommodate the company’s future needs, Yelken added.
The unanimous approval came with seven conditions, including opaque fencing around a portion of the property.
The cul-de-sac on the property and some of the surrounding area is frequented by bicycle riders.
