The United Methodist Men at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will hold their annual Chick-N-Que this Saturday, May 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the church.
The cost is $8 and includes half a barbecued chicken, slaw, baked beans, bread, and iced tea.
“The men stay up all night preparing the chicken and they produce a really quality meal,” a spokesperson said. “The money they raise helps many people in the community and beyond. They partner with Boy Scouts, A Better Way Ministries, Atlanta Homeless Shelter, Stop Hunger Now, and other organizations, and provide lots of support to Hopewell as well. They invite the community to come out and support this project so they can continue to help others.”
