The Senoia Area Historical Society (SAHS) at 6 Couch Street in Senoia has launched a structure repair campaign hoping to gain assistance in raising the $18,000 needed for extensive roofing repair, reinforcement of floor joists, and repairs of the exterior porch that are critical to preserve the 145 year old structure that houses the SAHS History Museum.

Watch the “Thermometer of Donations,” displayed at the Museum, to keep track of the status of donations through August. You may add your gift by stopping by the museum any Friday or Saturday between 1-4 p.m. or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 301, Senoia, GA 30276. Donations can also be made through at senoiaareahistoricalsociety.org, using PayPal or Go Fund Me by clicking on the Support link. Contact President Dub Pearman at 404-759-4515 for more information.

If you haven’t recently visited the museum to enjoy the displays and artifacts, stop by any Friday or Saturday from 1-4 p.m. A friendly and knowledgeable docent will be happy to guide you or you can take a self-guided tour.

The SAHS is a 100-percent volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
