Ramsey to speak May 13

State Rep. Matt Ramsey will review issues addressed during the recent legislative session at the May 13 meeting of the Greater Fayette Republican Women’s Club.

A native Georgian, he was first elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2007 and is a member of the House Appropriations, Ethics, Higher Education, Judiciary Non-Civil, Regulated Industries, Rules, and Ways & Means Committees. He is a partner with the Peachtree City law firm of Warner, Hooper, and Ramsey, P.C.

Ramsey and his wife Missy have two children and are active members of Peachtree City United Methodist Church. Matt is active in a variety of local organizations, including the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Joseph Sams School, where he serves on the Board of Directors.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at Tim’s Country Kitchen, 221 Banks Station, Fayetteville. The dinner buffet is $10 per person payable as you enter the restaurant.
