Beth Johnson to speak at Summit’s Family Matters dinner May 17

The Summit Church in Fayetteville will host a Family Matters dinner Sunday, May 17, at 6 p.m.  Guest speaker will be Dr. Beth Johnson, J. Davison Philips Professor of the New Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary.

Johnson’s undergraduate degree is from Ohio University and her graduate degrees are from Princeton Theological Seminary.  She has taught at Queens College in Charlotte, N.C. and has been a teaching fellow and associate professor of the New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, N.J.  She has published many academic and ecclesiastical publications.

Johnson is married to the Rev. Peter M. Paulsen (Reformed Church in America) and has two daughters and two stepsons.  The family attends Central Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
