Nearly 5,000 jobs to be had at job fair

U.S. Rep. David Scott (District 13) will host his 12^th Annual Jobs Fair on Friday, April 24, with over 70 of the region’s top employers confirmed to participate and interview job seekers to fill nearly 5,000 jobs.

Scott represents portions of six counties including Fayette, Cobb, Clayton, Douglas, Fulton, and Henry.

The Jobs Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park.

Employers confirmed to participate include AT&T, Bank of America, Chime Solutions, City of Douglasville, Cox Enterprises, Emory Healthcare, Federal Air Marshals, Gate Gourmet, Georgia Power Company, GLOCK, Inc., Gwinnett County Police Department, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Manpower, MARTA, Porsche North America, Regions Bank, RockTenn, Six Flags Over Georgia, UPS, SunTrust, Waffle House, WorldPay, and more.

Job seekers are encouraged to take MARTA to the Airport station and board the free ATL SkyTrain to the Convention Center or take MARTA to the College Park station and board a special MARTA bus shuttle to the event.
