An intersection in southeast Coweta County in need of a traffic flow improvement received a thumbs-up from the Coweta County Commission on March 17.

Commissioners agreed with the recommendation by Director of Transportation and Engineering Tod Handley to install 3-way stop at at the intersection of Al Roberts Road and East Rocky Mount Road.

Al Roberts Road contains a sharp, horizontal curve and does not meet the criteria for the 45 mile-per-hour speed limit that exists at the intersection.

A message sign will be installed at the intersection for two weeks prior to the implementation of the 3-way stop.
