Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church invites the community to this year’s Young Musicians Scholarship Concert on Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at the church. The church’s flute, clarinet, and brass choirs will all perform, joining forces with the organ and percussion for a memorable grand finale.
The concert raises funds to help young musicians attend Lutheran Summer Music, a month-long intensive summer event at Luther College in Iowa. Without scholarship assistance the cost would be prohibitive.
This year Roger Callison, a gifted freshman saxophonist/clarinetist, will attend. Others are considering attending.
The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.
