Roy Samples passed away on January 19, 2015 and Rhenda Samples of Fayetteville passed away on January 17, 2015 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.
Roy was born on April 9, 1944. He is preceded in death by his parents Guy Samples, Sr. and Mary Brand Samples. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Rhenda was born on May 23, 1945. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bell, Sr. and Reba Bullard Bell. They were both members of Faith Fellowship.
Survivors include their children and spouses, Jean Samples Tallman, Roy, Jr. and Tina Samples, Marvin and Tammy Samples, James and Danielle Samples; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Roy is survived by brother, Donald Samples; sister, Dora Hoover.
Visitation for Roy and Rhenda Samples was on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
