University of West Georgia Newnan has launched the Paving the Way to Student Success campaign. The campaign helps bridge the gap between what students pay and the actual cost of their education. Individual donations for the campaign reaches UWG students by providing essential funds needed each year for technology, resources, operating expenses and more.

In addition to the campaign, UWG Newnan campus is relocating to the historic Newnan hospital, tying the university even closer to the community.

This new location has been a fixture in the community since 1925 where many memories and stories have been made.

Legacy Walkways will now be joining history as well. Located in the courtyard, the plaza will “allow students to connect, study, and succeed,” according to Associate Director of Development UWG Newnan Elizabeth Jennette.

Pavers are available for purchasing and will be installed in the walkway.

Through the purchase of a paver, participants can commemorate their stories by honoring a loved one, recognizing a friend, leaving an inspirational message or preserving individual memories.

Corporations and foundations can also support UWG Newnan through the purchase of pavers. The pavers will be on display for all to see for they are located in located in high-traffic areas widely used by students, faculty, staff, alumni and campus visitors.

Purchasing a paver means leaving a print for future Wolves, educators and leaders to see in addition to preserving a lasting heritage.
