Billy Graham’s ‘My Hope’ set for Nov. 8
Members of Community Christian Church, 349 Kenwood Rd., Fayetteville (off Ga. Highway 314), invite the community to join them in Billy Graham’s “My Hope” 2014. The national outreach program will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8  from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Food will be served from 2 – 3:15.  Come as you are, casual dress encouraged. For more info, call 770-460-9745.

Order Greek pastries by Nov. 10
The deadline is Nov. 10 for ordering pastries from St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church’s 2014 Holiday Greek Pastry Sale. Available for sale are: Spanakopita, $10 per dozen; Tiropita, $10 per dozen; Baklava, $18 per dozen; Kourambiethes, $15 per dozen; Melomakarona, $15 per dozen ; Koulourakia $8 per dozen; sampler mixed dozen, $20 per box. Holly Grove Women’s Day is Nov. 9
Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church will host its Annual Women’s Day Celebration on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 10:30 a.m. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Celeste Wells of Christ Community AME Church of Clarkston.  Holly Grove AME Church is at 400 Holly Grove Church Rd., Peachtree City.

GriefShare scheduled at Dogwood
Dogwood Church, 975 Ga. Highway 74 South in Tyrone, will offer a special GriefShare seminar, Surviving the Holidays, on Wednesday Nov. 12, from 7 -9 p.m.  The group will meet in the Atrium area of the church office. Sessions are geared toward those  facing the holidays without their loved one and offer support, encouragement, and advice to survive.
