Among the county departments participating in the “Face to Face” event at the Fayette County Public Library were from left: Debra Parrish, county recreation, Joel T. Benton, chief appraiser/director at the tax assessors’ office and Brian Cook, systems analyst. The library had a fire truck on property for children to participate in “Touch-A-Truck” and a police car for them to see. The library then encouraged the children to check out a book on these subjects and learn more.  Hot dogs and music were also provided.  Photo/Carolyn Cary.
