Get a great start on Christmas shopping at the 25th annual Christmas Marketplace at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
The events is set for Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
One of the church’s biggest events, the Marketplace features more than 80 unique vendors selling a large variety of items located throughout the entire church.
Sponsored by the United Methodist Men and Women, all proceeds from the day will benefit local non- profit organizations such as Fayette Samaritans, Fayette Senior Services, Bloom, The Joseph Sams School, Pregnancy Resource Center, Promise Place, Square Foot Ministries, FFUMC Shawl Ministry, Southwest Christian Care and Christian City Children’s Village.
Homemade vegetable soup and chili dogs will be available at The Grill and homemade baked goods and candies will be available in the Gingerbread House.
A document shredding service will also be provided for a minimal cost.
Shop the ever popular Timeless Treasures sale for gently used items including toys, furniture, collectibles, seasonal and home décor, books, housewares, sports equipment, man stuff and more.
“The Marketplace has grown so large over the years. It is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said Deb Cole, local president of the United Methodist Women. “It is a joyous and fun day that benefits many great causes, and you never know what treasures you may find.”
Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is in downtown Fayetteville on the courthouse square.
