LDS Church will offer help with resumes, job searches

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 2021 Redwine Road in Fayetteville will host a career resource center beginning in October. The center will be open to the public on Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Individuals may use computers for job searches and receive assistance with resume, cover letters, interview tips, etc. All services are free. Participants are encouraged to bring their work history or an existing resume if they have one.

Attendees should bring a flash/thumb drive to save work or they can email the completed work to themselves for review later.

Once a month seminars will also be held. The first seminar “How to Increase Your Earnings by Utilizing Your Marketable Skills” will be held Thursday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m.
