The choirs of Starr’s Mill High School will be performing their spring concert at Willie Duke Auditorium May 6 at 6 p.m. Please note the early start time this year.
The program will feature all six of Starr’s Mill’s performing ensembles: Women’s choirs Bel Canto and Bella Voce, the Men’s Choir Camerata, the advanced mixed choir Chanticleer, the men’s a cappella ensemble Men of the Mill, and the vocal jazz ensemble An Octave Above.
Highlighting the evening will be five senior student conductors who will be moving on to major in music in college. The second part of the program will feature music from the Broadway musical “The Lion King” and a special presentation of music from the hit movie “Frozen,” both with full choreography.
Dr. John Odom, director of choral activities at Starr’s Mill invites the community to come and enjoy this wonderful evening of choral music. Willie Duke Auditorium is located in Starr’s Mill High School at 193 Panther Path, Fayetteville (just south of Peachtree City on Ga. Highway 74 South).
This concert is free to the public.
