Beginning this Sunday, April 27, Providence United Methodist Church will have traditional worship at 9:30 a.m. and the contemporary service at 11 a.m.
“Since everyone is so busy during the week with school, work and sports, we are looking forward to having a fellowship time between worship services where people who worship at different times can catch up with each other,” Senior Pastor Diane Parrish explains. “Our café is open all morning, so we want everyone to feel comfortable visiting on the patio now that the weather is nice.”
Children will have a special worship service just for them at 9:30, followed by Sunday school at 11 a.m. Middle high and senior high students can choose to go to Sunday school at either hour. Adult classes will meet at 9:30, 10:45 and 11 a.m. Providence UMC is at 592 Bernhard Rd. in southern Fayette County between Ga. Hwy. 85 and Redwine Road.
