Donald R. Rogin, 76, of Williamson, Ga. passed away on April 8, 2014.

He was born on April 25, 1937 to Eleanor Silverstein Rogin and Isador Rogin in Chicago, Ill. Don was an icon of Peachtree City since 1970 and is best known as a residential builder and as owner of Frank ‘n’ Fries restaurant. He coached soccer for 27 seasons and was an ardent golfer.

He is survived by his loving wife, of almost 50 years, Debra Weygandt Rogin; sons, William “Bill” Rogin, Jason Rogin, and Sean Rogin; daughter, Stacey Grant; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and two sisters, Judith Spector and Lynn Guetzow.

A graveside service was held at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City, Ga. on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 2 pm. A visitation was held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Ga.

A gathering was held after the service at the home of Stacey and Charlie Grant, 20 The Promontory, Newnan, Ga. 30263. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for the research and cure of lymphocytic leukemia in his name.
