Byard-Sharp wedding

Bob and Barbara Byard of Fayetteville hosted a reception honoring their son Jonathan (Mac) Byard and Allison Sharp who were married on Sept. 7, 2013 in Coronado Island, Calif.

Mac graduated from Starrs Mill High School in 2001 and the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2005. He is currently stationed at Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, Ariz. where he is an ADO and evaluator pilot for the EC130 aircraft. While there, he has served 6 combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Allie is a native of Tucson and graduated from Desert Christian High School in 2005. She received her degree in Elementary Education at Taylor University in Upland, Ind. She currently teaches kindergarten at AmeriSchools Academy Charter. In May, Mac will attend pilot instructor training in San Antonio, Texas then he and Allie will be stationed at Columbus AFB, Columbus Miss. where he will be an instructor for the T-6, Texan II.
