Lois S. Bacas, 83, passed away Mar. 23, 2014, with her family at her side. She will be remembered always as a caring and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Bacas; sister, Marion S. Mann; children, Bob (Debi) Kalina, James Kalina, Michelle (Phil) Weeks, Frank Sommers, Debbie Gibson, and step-daughter, Melody (Mike) Dareing; grandchildren, Veronica Jones, Jennifer (Joe) VanGiller, Keith and Laurie Sommers, Sheila (Chad) Fowler, Andy (Mary) Kalina, Jeremy Kalina, Jessica Kalina and Jacob Kalina, Krista (Ben) Wallinger, Kaley Kalina, and Christopher Gibson and Nicholas Gibson; great-grandchildren Blake Pettite, Lane and Bryce Fowler, and Jackson VanGiller; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bacas is predeceased by her brothers, Richard Sommers and Ronnie Sommers; sister, Carol Steininger; and grandson, Jimmy Kalina.
Visitation will be held on Thur., Mar. 27, 2014 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Mar. 28, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 135 Senoia Road in Peachtree City, Ga.
