FAYETTE COUNTY (baseball) defeated Greenville Tuesday night behind Jordan Coleman’s complete-game no-hitter. Chris Jones was 2-for-2 with a homer and 5 RBI, and Wahid Ali also homered.

STARR’S MILL (girls lacrosse) beat Columbus 19-4 Tuesday. Leading goal scorers were Meghan Mills and Katie Buck, and Madeline Scheinost was solid in goal.

SANDY CREEK (boys soccer) lost 5-2 to Carrollton Tuesday in what coach Hunter Seegers said was the best game his team has played yet.

SANDY CREEK (girls soccer) lost 10-1 to Carrollton. Sophia Bonser scored the Lady Patriots’ lone goal.

McINTOSH (tennis) defeated WHITEWATER 5-0 Tuesday boys and girls matches.

STARR’S MILL (tennis) is 4-1 overall and 2-0 in region play on the boys’ side, with wins over St. Pius and Union Grove. The girls are 4-2 with losses to Walton and Roswell, the last two state champions in AAAAAA.

McINTOSH (baseball) beat Mundy’s Mill 21-6 in three innings, scoring 11 times in the top of the first. Duke Kinamon had 5 RBI and Andrew Johnson drove in 4. Dane Bullock had 3 hits and 3 RBI.

OUR LADY OF MERCY (baseball) fell 12-2 to Paideia Tuesday. Paideia scored 10 runs in the fifth to break a 2-2 tie. Austin Loper was the starter and pitched into the fifth inning. Justin Emerson and Brian Freeman had RBI singles, and Kevin Walker and Aaron Usherv had one hit apiece.
