Hopewell Methodist Women recently held a “Paint Night” and 15 women gathered to paint their version of a beautiful cross.

Most of the women had never painted before and artist Julie Compton, of Sassy Chick Painting Parties, led them through the steps to produce their masterpiece.

There were 15 grand, glorious, and joyful results and everyone proudly took their paintings home.

The night was such a success that another “Paint Night” is scheduled for July 25. The women will celebrate “Christmas in July” and paint a holiday scene.

To get in on the fun, contact the church office, 770-306-7537. Hopewell is in Tyrone at 351 Jenkins Rd., directly across from Sandy Creek High.
